Dr. Hamid participated in the Dec. 2008 Conference of the Adelson Institute for Strategic Studies, “Twenty First Century Wars: Counterinsurgency and the Challenge of Global Terrorism.” He spoke about his lessons from the time he was a youth muslim extremist, and the way to combat extremism.
