In this manner they become better prospectors,and thus of greater value to themselves and to the State. The work takenup in the prospectors course consists of lectures and laboratory exercisesupon the following subjects: Prospecting, assaying, mineralogy, geology,chemistry, hygiene, sanitation, first aid to the injured, and mining law.
