It is of a light blue color, resembling the TVarted Hubbard in shape, though excelling this variety in flavor and dryness, and surpasses all other varieties in productiveness. The in- troducers say this is our ninth introduction and our best. It is also a good keeper and will keep longer after being cut open than most varieties without showing mold. It is one of the best flavored squashes in existence. The name is given in reference to its quality "de- licious" the word mostly used to describe its quality. It is the result of years of selection and crossing between the Hubbard and other varieties. It is uniformly of a green color when matured. Flesh very thick, of a dark orange color, weight 5 to 10 lbs. For table use it leads all others in its remarkable combination of fine and compact grain, dryness, sweet- ness and richness of flavor. It is a late fall and winter squash. Per pkt. 5 cts., oz. 15 cts., % lb. 50 cts., lb. § Banana Squash This is an old variety of a generation or more ago, to come back again, it is listed in some catalogues as the Plymouth Rock, but is the same variety. It is probably the finest in quality ever grown. The color is a grayish green, shell soft so it can be cut with a knife. It grows from 18 to 24 inches long and 6 to 8 inches thick. It
