02/06/2022 Gravesend UK The beacon on Windmill Hill Gravesend was lit at this evening by The Mayor of Gravesham Borough Council Cllr Peter Scollard and HM Queen’s representative Deputy Lieutenant Bhargawa Vasudaven in celebration of the HM Queen’s 70th Jubilee celebrations. The beacon joined 3,000 other beacons across the British Isles for unique occasion.
