During the visit to Korea the delegation met with Korean National Assembly Speaker Kim Jin-pyo along with senior ROK officials, spoke with the President of the Republic of Korea Yoon Suk-yeol, toured the Joint Security Area / Demilitarized Zone, and spoke with service members at the JSA and Osan Air Base. This visit was part of a congressional delegation tour around several Asian countries to reaffirm the United States' commitment to a free and open Indo-Pacific and stability in the region.
