Octagonal body withstraight sides, octagonal knopped stems, and circular feetwith scalloped edges. Engraved with scrolled ivy leavesand tendrils, and bands of dots. Height, 13/2 inchet. 5-i—German Intaglio-engraved Glass Roemer-shaped Vase Mid-Xineteenth CenturyClear white glass. Coupe-shaped bowl, intaglio-engravedwith an escutcheon charged with a coat-of-arms and a basketof flowers. Baluster-shaped stem enclosing a double spiralof ruby and milk-white glass. Height, 11 inches. 55—French Glass Two-handled Vase Mid-Xitictccnth Centu ryOpaque green glass. Pear-shaped body, cylindrical neck,bulbous rim, circular foot and two looped handles. Dec-orated, on a light green ground, with oval medallions paintedin colors on a rose-colored ground, with flowers, and withscrolls and medallions in gold. Handles in solid gold.
