Sunmer Scarborough Clock Tower, an historic landmark on the espalade at Sumner, a seaside town near central Christchurch, New Zealand.
The clock at the far end of Sumner's esplanade (Taylor's Mistake end) dates from 1934 when the first stone was laid. It has recently re-opened after a major renovation, refurbishment and upgrade. (early 2020) The project took longer than expected as some earthquake damage was discovered and needed remedial work. The COVID pandemic also caused a delay.
