The biggest elephants I have seen were in Namibia, Africa, congregating around a waterhole and seeming very happy about life.

These are without doubt the biggest elephants I have ever seen. They come to this extremely remote waterhole to drink and seem to thoroughly enjoy the experience after the dusty savanna. The location of the waterhole is a closely guarded secret as it is a massively important preserve of the critically endangered black rhino. I was lucky enough to experience this location during a night shoot to capture the behavior of the mostly nocturnal rhinoceros, and benefit from the much more relaxed attitude of the elephants because they are a long way from population centers.
