Prostate Cancer
This axial (cross sectional) CT image through the pelvis in a person with prostate cancer shows an enlarged prostate secondary to cancer and thickening of the bladder wall consistent with bladder out obstruction from the enlarged prostate gland. You can see an irregular, enlarged prostate growing into the bladder base.
