Tabun Khara Obo crater, satellite image. This impact crater (upper left, indicated by orange arrows) is in the south east of Mongolia. The crater measures kilometres in diameter and has a rim that rise about 25 metres above the crater floor. It was formed around 150 million years ago. Image taken by the Advanced Land Imager (ALI) on NASA's Earth Observing-1 satellite on 28th August 2009.
