Nexteight or ten miles good trotting road. At eastern boundary of TimberReserve, the Government road, fine as a city boulevard, is intersected. From Wapiti to Pahaska (Middle Fork)—26 miles. Government road, maintained with an annual appropriation of520,000. Extends through or near forests of gigantic pines, with fre-quent windings about immense natural statuary and heroic cliffs
