San Diego instructor, shows Ensign Alex Stephenson, a student in the Basic Division Officer Course (BDOC), the position of the stator blades in a mock-up gas turbine engine during an engineering machinery tour. BDOC is an intensive, nine-week course of instruction designed to provide foundational classroom training to prospective surface warfare officers.
