Bat-eared fox (Otocyon megalotis). This carnivore feeds mainly on insects. It prefers termites, which it locates using its keen sense of hearing and then digs up. It lives alone, in pairs or in small groups and is found in the savannah and plains of southern and eastern Africa. Photographed in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, in South Africa and Botswana.
