Eebecca was daughter ofCapt. James and Elizabeth (Arnold) Richardson, of Wobiirn. Samuel Lockekept a public house in Lancaster many years, which was much resorted was a sister of Eev. Sam^^el Locke, D. D., president of Harvard Col-lege from 1770 to 1773, nearly four years. Epihraim Wilder lived in that partof Lancaster incorporated, 1781, as the town of Sterling, of which town he wasrepresentative some years; died Jan. 29, 1805, aged 72. VII. Samuel Locke Wilder, born March 14, 1778; married Anna Sher-win, as above, May 20, 1797. She was born Dec. 31, 1778; died Feb. 5, 1851,aged 72. He and his brother, Col. Josiah Wilder, bom 1770, removed fromSterling to Rindge in 1794. Samuel represented Rindge in the Legislature ofNew Hampshire thirteen years, and held other important offices. He and hisbrother were merchants in Rindge. He died April 7, 1863, aged ^
