New road from Altdorf via Göschenen to Andermatt in the canton of Uri, rebuilt after avalanche damage a few years earlier. June 2018 The newly built road between Göschenen and Andermatt known as the Schöllenen road is being repaired and a separate bicycle track added. Seen here looking northwards to the Schöllenenschlucht-gorge and the Reuss river. The road leads to Andermatt and the Sty Gotthard Pass.
