Although not native to Florida, the iguana population has flourished due to the hot humid climate. It is believed that the wild iguana population has sprung from escaped or abandoned pets. This specimen, pictured climbing a tree in a Key West marina, Florida, USA, is about meters long and is therefore not fully grown.
