Manicouagan Reservoir (also Lake Manicouagan) is an annular lake in Quebec, Canada, covering an area of 750Sq miles. The lake island is known as Rene-Levasseur Island. Created in the Late Triassic by the impact of a meteorite 3 miles across. The lake & island can be seen from space and sometimes called the 'eye of Quebec'.
