Poole Quay, in the Old Town area of Poole, Dorset, England.

Poole Quay in the old town area, at the junction with Thames Street. The main building (with the flagpole) is HM Coastguard. Towering behind this is the 'old grain silo, originally built for Christopher Hill Ltd. In 1958/59, and was part of what was then an active industrial quay area. The silo was used for storing grain shipped to the Quay from abroad, as well as home grown grain. Left unused for over 20 years it became derelict and demolition was started in 2008. Also in the picture can be seen Piplers chandlers
