The HMM Hamburg is an Algeciras class container ship, a group of seven cargo vessels which equally are the largest container ships in the world and able to carry nearly 24,000 standard containers. HMM Hamburg entered service in July 2020 and will be making regular journeys between Asia and Europe, arriving for the first time in the Thames Estuary bound for DP World London Gateway on 6th Sept. It is seen passing Southend Pier heading back out toward the North Sea and its next stop in Greece
