Police Boat Patrols River Seine
The Brigade Fluviale (river police) patrol the River Seine. The French city of Paris has been under close watch for terrorist activity after a tumultuous 2015. River patrols have a variety of specialist jobs like searching for discarded criminal evidence, recovering and rescuing people and items, boarding suspicious or criminal vessels, underwater dive missions and keeping a close watch on the river banks.
