On the southern side of the Susquehanna, and di-rectly opposite the junction of the Chenango, there is also,from the garden of Mr. Eldridge, an interesting view ofthe town ; and a ride down the main street, on the westbank of the Chenango, will also show the elegant taste ofthe citizens in architecture and ornamental grounds.
