Grouse feeding basin at Carhead Rocks in the Peak District.

Carhead Rocks is an area close to Stanage Edge in the Peak District national park and has a few of these grouse feeding basins carved into the gritstone slabs (found on Stanage Edge and all over nearby Hallam Moors). They are a product of grouse-moor management instigated by William Wilson around 1907.
