Two-barred goatfish (Parupeneus bifasciatus). This fish inhabits lagoons and seaward coral reefs in the Indian Ocean, down to a depth of some 80 metres. It favours flat reef tops when young, and steep reef walls when mature. It feeds on smaller fish, crustaceans and worms and can reach a length of 35 centimetres. Photographed in Malaysia.
