Hundreds of candles illuminate a huge storm drain sewer tunnel underground

Arched limestone block portion of the Phalen Creek storm sewer, Saint Paul, Minnesota, USA. The tunnel, which is twenty feet high, was constructed in the early 1900s to bury Phalen Creek and produce a railroad right of way into downtown St Paul. The storm drain is popular with so-called urban explorers, who find it's architecture attractive and highly photogenic. This is a color image from slow-speed medium-format film.
