Short-finned pilot whale suckling. Young short-finned pilot whale (Globicephala macrorhynchus) suckling from its mother. This animal is actually a large dolphin and is found throughout the world's temperate and tropical waters. It can grow to between 4 and 6 metres in length, and feeds on fish, squid and octopus.
