After the end of May sowing should be discontinued until beginning of August, when a profitable crop may be secured by planting the extra early varieties. DWARF EXTRA EARLY PEAS. AMERICAN WONDER. One of the best and most desirable varieties grown, being a cross between Champion and Little Gem is sufficient guarantee of its superior qualities; 1ft. The Chelsea grows one foot in height, and is of com- pact habit; it is as early as American Wonder and gives a much larger crop, bearing in pairs from the bottom to the top an abun- dance of handsome pods, which are half as long again as those of any other first earlv dwarf kind ; 1 ft. Per pt., 20 cts.; qt., 35 cts. NOTTS EXCELSIOR. We consider this Dwarf Extra Early variety one of the best of recent introduction. Vines are larger and more vigorous than the American Wonder, earlier and more prolific than the Premium Gem.
