SAN DIEGO (Dec. 12, 2016) Petty Officer 1st Class Iris Foster instructs Petty Officer 3rd Class Joel Mourosek and Petty Officer 2nd Class Peter Zapletal on pipe patching during a ship-wide training exercise (Damage Control Rodeo) where Sailors rotate from various stations to learn basic ship qualifications aboard the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71). Theodore Roosevelt is currently moored and homeported in San Diego undergoing a scheduled Planned Maintenance Availability.
