Italy, Salerno. The bell tower of the Duomo, built between 1076 in and 1085 at the request of Robert il Giuscardo was consecrated by Gregory VII in 1085. The Duomo has a Romanesque bell tower built in the first half of the 12th century. It has three lines of mullioned windows with raised arches and a cylindrical drop. The Museum of the Duomo has many relics of Roman times
