PACIFIC OCEAN (Oct. 20, 2014) – Sailors on board the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68) participate in a general quarters drill in the hangar bay. Nimitz, along with Canadian, Japanese and other ships are underway conducting a task group exercise to train units that will deploy independently. Task Group exercise improves cooperation, readiness and the capability to respond quickly in various situations in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
