The injurious effects of commonl3^ used antiseptics on wounds andsores, while interfering with the action of bacteria, tend to increase in-flammation and deaden the healthy tissue immediately surrounding theparts. GILES is the only antiseptic yet discovered that has the powerto accomplish the desired results without the accompanying evils. DR. D. S. GILES, the originator of the GILES Treatment forhorses, was born in 1829 and grew to manhood in a communitywhich was eminently horsey.
