Marines from Delta Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, march as a platoon for the last time on graduation day at Marine Recruit Depot San Diego, Oct. 20. After 13 weeks of training, the Marines receive 10 days of leave before attending Marine Combat Training at Camp Pendleton, Calif. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego.
