Jack Burt and F. R. McCormick re- cently drove to Seattle and Portland, Ore., calling on the trade. Mr. Burt re- ports the florists down at the coast are all fine fellows to call on and that they helped to make the trip more enjoyable by showing the visitors the town, as well as the greenhouses. The Glenrose Greenhouses are cutting some fine yellow carnations. Funeral work has not been quite so heavy this fall as in other years. One of the largest funerals was for the manager of the Pantages theater. The Elks' temple was one bower of flowers. Mr. and Mrs. H.
