Looking from the Skye shore at the bridge (now toll free) which carries the A87 across Loch Alsh, via Eilean Ban island, from Kyle of Lochalsh on the mainland to Kyleakin on the Isle of Skye. Shows the western span from Eilean Ban (with lighhouse) to Skye near Kyleakin. Eilean Ban was once owned by the author Gavin Maxwell who created an animal sanctuary, but is now owned by the National Trust for Scotland.
