The in- corporators are Henry Mehl, Peter E. Evans and Albert Peterson. Another government nursery is being planned at the Great Plains experimenttd station, near Mandan, N. D. Free trees to farmers will shortly- be as bad for the nurseryman as free seeds are for the seedsman. But while the latter is nearing its end, the former practice is increasing. Fire destroyed the bam, wagon house and two outbuildings at the Morrisville Nurseries, Morrisville, Pa., September 25. Lack of water prevented the firemen from checking the blaze.
