During his day-long visit, Schneider met with the unit’s commanding general Brig. Gen. The purpose of the visit was to learn first hand from Soldiers and leaders the progress and challenges the unit has during Anakonda 16. Schneider also commended three junior enlisted Soldiers during his visit for the above-and-beyond efforts they exhibited during the crucial set-up of the unit's operations center. Exercises like AN16 help Army Reserve sustainment Soldiers understand how to quickly and efficiently move personnel and equipment, which improves their response time to maneuver forces.
