Armand-Pierre Seguier (1803-1876). 1867 illustration of the French lawyer Armand-Pierre Seguier. Armand was advising auditor at the French royal court in 1826. He resigned in 1848 and devoted himself to mechanics. He became a free member of the Academy of Sciences in 1833.
