Waterloo Medal (Plate 23, Tab. 11. No. 11) was foundedby the Prince Regent of Great Britain, George, as guardian ofthe minor Princes of Brunswick, on the 11th June, 1818, for theperpetual remembrance—as the patent says— of the campaignof 1815, and the glorious distinction with which the Brunswickcorps has participated in it.
