CAROLINA WREN The Carolina Wren is found about the Great Lakesregion in limited numbers. Their true summer home issouth of the central portions of Illinois and Indiana andsouth of Iowa to the Gulf and east to the Atlantic. Insouthern Illinois and Indiana they are abundant. They areresident except in the northern limit of their range. Thislargest eastern wren nests about dwellings, sheds, brush,fence corners, and fallen logs. They remain paired through-out the year and are endowed with happy disposition
