Wo-usn (known as Yamato Takeru), ancient Japanese hero, 19th century (1886). Prince Yamato Takeru is a legendary Japanese prince of the Yamato dynasty. He is thought to have lived in the 4th century AD and his story is told in the chronicles Kojiki and Nihon Shoki. From a drawing by Kikuchi Yosai, engraved in the Zen-ken ko-jitsu.
