Ghislain Bardout is a world-famous ocean explorer who specialises in dives around the North Pole and in technical deep dives. As a co-founder of Under the Pole expeditions, he has pioneered missions combining scientific research, innovative technology and ocean preservation. Join Ghislain in conversation with host Emily Bates to hear about his incredible career, the challenges of diving in extremely deep and cold environments, and how we all have a part to play in preserving our oceans. Ghislain Bardout is co-founder and leader of the Under The Pole expeditions, which Rolex supports. Bardout developed a special capsule that enables scientists to stay underwater for 72 hours at a time, gathering vital data to protect the oceans.
