EUROPE: A throne in an abandoned Chateau in France. ABANDONED yet extravagant homes of the elite families of Europe have been snapped in their current state of decay. Pictures show extravagant abodes that were once home to the wealthy and powerful families of Europe, now in dangerous states of ruin. Crumbling chateaus and elegant villas in decline give a glimpse into the history of the now empty and haunting residences. Youth worker Stefan Baumann (34) from Austria snapped these former great structures at various locations throughout Europe.
