Four of seven saints, depicted by Harry Clarke, above the sanctuary in the church of St. Oswald & St. Edmund, Ashton-in-Makerfield, Greater Manchester

Harry Clarke was an Irish stained-glass artist and book illustrator. Born in Dublin, he was a leading figure in the Irish Arts and Crafts Movement. In the Church of St. Oswald & St. Edmund Arrowsmith in Ashton-in-Makerfield, Greater Manchester, seven spectacular windows of his surround the sanctuary with St. Juliana Falconieri as the central figure. In this composite image, the far left figure represents St. Juliana Falconieri with the Eucharistic host upon her breast. To the right of her, from left to right, are figures representing the saints Paschal Baylon, Catherine and John. In reality, the figures are more widely spaced around the dome surrounding the sanctuary.
