Bristol Blenheim Mark IVs of Nos. 84 and 203 Squadrons RAF Detachments based at H4 landing ground in Transjordan, en route to attack Palmyra airfield during the first sortie by the RAF against Vichy French targets in Syria. The Bristol Blenheim was a British light bomber aircraft designed and built by the Bristol Aeroplane Company and used extensively in the first two years of the Second World War.
