Untitled (NetJets Europe) Dassault Falcon 2000 SCO 2515
The Dassault Falcon 2000 is a French Business jet and a member of Dassault Aviation's Falcon business jet line, and is a twin-engine, slightly smaller development of the Falcon 900 trijet, with transcontinental range. Dassault has made its name worldwide with its Falcon 2000 family, the 2000, the 2000EX (replaced by the 2000LX in 2008) and the shorter range 2000DX. Able to accommodate up to 19 passengers, the Falcon 2000 family has a range of up to 7,400km (4,000nm)-in the LX, at speeds of up to (913kmh). Powered by two Pratt & Whitney 308C engines, mounted on the sides of the rear fuselage and initially equipped with ProLine IV avionics, the 2000 family is now supplied fitted with Dassault's EASy Cockpit System, based on Honeywell's Primus Epic system, with improved safety and information management features. Originally designed for transcontinental travel; easily able to cover 3000nm at with NBAA IFR reserves, the popularity of the 2000 introduced the need for a longer-range model, and ten years after its launch, the 2000EX was born, offering a higher performing engine, a 30% increase in fuel capacity and an almost 800nm gain over its sibling. The 2000LX has a further 5% gain in range and efficiency over the EX. Launched in 2006, as a shorter range version on the EX, the 2000DX's range has been reduced by 650nm, achieved by removing 2,000lb (900kg) of fuel capacity.
