Tram, Newhampton Road East, Wolverhampton, circa 1902. An early Wolverhampton Corporation Newbridge bound double-decker tram

Tram, Newhampton Road East, Wolverhampton, circa 1902. An early Wolverhampton Corporation Newbridge bound double-decker tram car (No. 24) on Newhampton Road East just after the conversion of the trams to the Lorain Surface Contact System. The tram lines can be clearly seen in the road. The tram makes an effective advertising board for local businesses - in this case 'Allen's Pianos'.
