The Nave of Christchurch Priory, established in 1094 is an ecclesiastical parish and former priory church in Christchurch in the English county of Dorset (formerly in Hampshire). It is the longest parish church in the country. In 1539, the Priory was dissolved and the monastic buildings were pulled down soon after. The King intended to pull down the church, but in response to a plea from the townspeople, he granted the church and churchyard to the inhabitants of Christchurch to be used as the parish church.
