Nesheim and Eleanor Albertson. daughter of OrrisAlbertson, of Battle Lake. Minnesota, were united in marriage, and to thisunion three children have been born: Eleanor, Roseltha and William (de-ceased). Mr. Nesheims fraternal affiliation is with the local lodge of theAncient Order of United Workmen at Moorhead. Mrs. Nesheims Albertson, for many years one of the foremost residents of BattleLake, which town he helped to lay out. buying the first town lot sold W. M. XESHEIM. When nineteen yearsof age, in 1869, Orris Albertson came to Minnesota to join his sister, Sherman, in Otter Tail county, and for some time thereafter wasemployed as a clerk in the city of Otter Tail. In the fall of 1873 he marriedMrs. Roseltha (Gould), Corliss, a widow and the owner of a homestead farmin Everts township. Otter Tail county, and took a homestead in his ownname adjoining that of his wife. In 1876 he established a store on that farmand later moved the same to the new townsite of Battle Lake and for manyvears thereafter was
