Twemlow viaduct, Holmes Chapel which carries the railway across the Dane Valley between Goostrey and Holmes Chapel. This is made of red brick and sandstone, has 23 semi-circular arches and takes the line up to 34m above the river. The structure was given a Grade II listing in 1987. It was designed by railway chief engineer George Watson Buck and built in 1841. Twemlow Viaduct: which was featured in a documentary and where Harry Styles allegedly had his first kiss
