Poland, Krakow (Cracow): the Wawel Cathedral, part of the Wawel Castle Complex, formally titled the Archcathedral Basilica of Saint Stanislaus and Saint Wenceslaus, former coronation site of Polish monarchs. Inside the Sigismund Tower, with the giant bronze bell of the same name (Dzwon Zygmunta) in its tangle of oak beams. Considered one of Poland's national symbols, the country's largest bell, and the second largest in the world with m in diameter, weighs 11 tonnes and was first rung on July 13, 1521.
