A German hand-and-a-half knightly sword, circa 1350 Double-edged blade with fullers on both sides. Straight quillons with quadrangular cross-section. Tapered tang with remnants of the old wooden grip on one side. Round disc pommel with a central recess and a rectangular riveted plate. Cleaned archaelogical find with heavy traces of corrosion to the blade.
